Bunker Bay Golf opened its doors on Gulf to Bay Boulevard in 2017 after a stretch of summers spent watching fitting sessions get rained out halfway through, or pushed off entirely because nobody wants to hang around under a range umbrella waiting for a lightning delay to lift. The idea behind the place was simple: a proper fitting shouldn't hinge on what the sky decides to do.
A four-camera optical wall and a pressure-mapped plate took the place of an outdoor bay, and a sealed, climate-held room took the place of the weather entirely. Since then we've put close to four thousand clubs through the system across every price range, and the numbers hold steady whether it's February or the middle of August.
